We are pleased to announce that Adam Hosier, Founder Director at AEI, will be attending Enterprise Ireland’s Networking event: “Saudi Arabia – Developing Opportunities in a Changing Market” to share his insights on the current Saudi Agriculture and Food Tech Industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This is an important time for Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom is undergoing major changes in an effort to diversify the economy. Vision 2030, The Kingdom’s economic plan, seeks to expand the economy in sectors such as renewable energy and industrial equipment and to position Saudi Arabia as a logistics and transportation hub, while expanding tourism by creating unique visitor attractions to complement its historical and religious sites.
In parallel Saudi Arabia has made strategic investments in the digital economy along with plans to increase the value-add in its oil and petrochemicals industries. Saudi Arabia aims to leverage its investment capabilities to become a global investment powerhouse.
Saudi Arabia is a key market for Irish exporters – it remains the single biggest export market for Irish companies in the Middle East with continued export growth for Enterprise Ireland clients in 2016. Enterprise Ireland has invited select Saudi Arabian buyers and experts to speak about trends, supply chains, purchasing methods and supplier qualification policies.
The event will take place on the 12th of May at Enterprise Ireland HQ, East Point Business Park, Dublin.
