As most of you may have seen, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has finally opened itself up to global tourism and is now allowing nationals from 49 countries in Europe, Asia, North America and Oceania to receive tourist visas. The online process is reported to take seven minutes to complete. Following this announcement, the Saudi authorities have also begun to allow single women as well as unmarried couples to stay in hotels, which would have been unimaginable just months ago. In other news, Saudi Aramco will increase dividend payments and pay less tax as the government tries to secure the targeted $2 trillion valuation.
